The Bengal Chamber of Commerce and Industry participated in the World Sustainable Development Summit (WSDS) from 29th to 31st January 2020 at India Habitat Centre in New Delhi.

The Chamber being the Outreach Partner of the WSDS, organised the First Regional Dialogue of WSDS 2020 in India in collaboration with its 12th Annual Environment and Energy Conclave on 29th August 2020 in ITC Kolkata. The theme for the Regional Dialogue was "Water Secure Economies: Perspectives from the Industries".

Mr. Deb A Mukherjee, President Designate of The Chamber was invited to address in the Session on "Derisking Investments in Decentralized Solar Solutions" and "EU Excellence in India- The Green Business Opportunity".

The Chamber also had an exhibition stall in the IFAT Exhibition of WSDS.
