Women Entrepreneurship Cell, The Entrepreneurs' Committee, The Bengal Chamber of Commerce and Industry organized a series of webinars on "Effortless Lockdown Parenting. through Zoom Pro. The objective of this webinar was to guide parents on how to keep children busy and involved during the lockdown times.

The speaker of the webinar was:
Ms Pooja Dugar, Chairperson - Women Entrepreneurship Cell, The Entrepreneurs' Committee, BCC&I, Founder & Director, Leap Years Preschool.

These sessions were targeted for parents of children under six years and from six to twelve years. The nationwide closures have impacted children's social life and learning. Hence, teaching process moved online, on an unparalleled scale. The journey from sending the kids to school to home schooling brought a paradigm shift in parents as well as kids daily routine and parents were also facing a lot of challenges in handling their kids, office work from home and doing household work also. The sessions were attended by corporate employees who are having kids with similar age group. Other than the parenting tips, how to manage both family and work all together, she also gave suggestion on instilling some good habits like reading books to child, and some of the activities which could be arranged at home, with materials readily available at home, these activities will not only keep children engaged but also enhance different other skills.

It was overall a very engaging and knowledge based interaction. Where parents had talked about their issues, and sought solutions for the same. The Bengal Chamber of Commerce and Industry will continue arranging these workshops on various topics which are currently the need of the hour.
