Women Entrepreneurship Cell, The Entrepreneurs' Committee, The Bengal Chamber of Commerce and Industry organized its first initiative a series of webinars on "Convert your Business into Online Mode", through Zoom Pro. The objective of these webinars was to give an insight on Why the need to convert online, How to convert to online, & What will be the business impact. The webinars were attended by members of Women Entrepreneurship Cell.

The speakers for these webinars were:
▪  Ms. Pooja Dugar, Founder & Director, Leap Years Preschool.
▪  Mr. Debajyoti Banerjee, Founder & CEO at Seven Boats Info-System Pvt. Ltd.
▪  Ms. Kavita Agarwal, Founder, Career After Family Enterprise.

The first session was taken by Ms. Pooja Dugar, on 6th April 2020 who explained the need for converting into online mode. During this unprecedented time, where everything had come to a standstill, but with innovative thinking, breaking protocols and creating new methods to improve businesses were the only option left, in this current pandemic scenario converting business operations into online will enable it to sustain in the market. Other pros and cons of online mode were discussed in this session.

The second session was taken by Mr. Debajyoti Banerjee, on 8th April 2020, who explained the technical part or the ways of the conversion. He explained various points like - Creation of a basic landing page, Selection of payment processor, Campaigning in social media and building a community. Tactics for reaching the maximum people, How to get the traffic - Techniques for engaging the target audience, How to make the transaction - Tricks to turn the potential leads into paying customers. How to keep the business - Methods to engage the customers and keep them coming back. How to improve the experience - Tools to measure the results and improve the performance.

The third and final session was taken by Ms. Kavita Agarwal, on 10th April 2020; she explained the impact of online business. Low operational costs, global market reach, times saving, better customer service, 24x7 hours of availability, are the good impacts, but at the same time vigilance related to payment is a major point to be looked after.
