Women Entrepreneurship Cell of The Entrepreneurs' Committee, The Bengal Chamber of Commerce and Industry organized a webinar on "Starting a Start-up", a special webinar for aspiring women entrepreneurs on 17th July 2020, Friday through Zoom Pro. The objective of this webinar was to give an insight on the different measures of starting a start-up for the aspiring women entrepreneurs. The webinar was attended by aspiring women entrepreneurs of different sectors and few of them had just started their ventures.

The speakers of the Webinar were:

▪  Ms. Anindita Chatterjee, Partner - Tax Connect Advisory Services LLP.

During the course of the discussion, the following areas were covered:
▪  Brief Background on Start-Ups in India.
▪  Registration of Start-Ups.
▪  Various Incentives (Fiscal and Non-Fiscal) for Start-Ups in India.
▪  Case studies on Start-Ups in West Bengal.

The committee will organize more such webinars in future as a regular activity of Women Entrepreneurship Cell to inspire and provide knowledge to women to embrace entrepreneurship.
