The Bengal Chamber of Commerce and Industry hosted Ms. Marika Jakas, Counsellor - Head of Trade and Economic Affairs, Delegation of the European Union to India and Mr. Donal Cannon, Head of Regional Representation for South Asia, European Investment Bank on 21st February at The Chamber premises. From the Chamber, Mr. Deb A. Mukherjee, Senior Vice President, Mr. Arun Kumar Mukherjee, Chairperson Emeritus, Energy and Environment Committee, Mr. Subhodip Ghosh, Director General, Ms. Angana Guha Roy Chowdhury, Deputy Director and Mr. Sambit Dasgupta, Chief Manager attended the meeting.

The discussions majorly happened on understanding the scope of work of the Delegation of the European Union to India and also of European Investment Bank to India. Areas of mutual collaboration such as environment and sustainability, entrepreneurship, public and private sector project financing were contemplated.
