Annual Endowment Lecture, 20th February, 2019, Chamber Premises.

The Bengal Chamber of Commerce & Industry organised an Agriculture Talk on 20th February 2019 at Willamson Magor Hall to pay tribute to Prof. S. B. Chattopadhyay, first Vice- Chancellor of Bidhan Chandra Krishi Viswavidylaya.

Prof. Ashok Gulati, Infosys Chair Professor delivered his key note address on present agriculture economics of India and his thoughts regarding future of agriculture in our country. Prof Chirantan Chattopadhya, Vice-Chancellor, Uttar Banga Krishi Viswavidylaya and Prof D. D. Patra, Vice-Chancellor, Bidhan Chandra Krishi Viswavidylaya were present and delivered his address and both of them mentioned about Prof. Chattopadhya's contribution towards agriculture in our State as well as country.

The programme was moderated by Dr. Partha Dasgupta , Advisor- Syngenta Foundation for Sustainable Agriculture and attended by more than 100 delegates from agriculture community of West Bengal.
