The Bengal Chamber of Commerce & Industry organized a memorial lecture to celebrate 125th birth anniversary of Dr. Meghnad Saha, an eminent Scientist from Bengal.

Dr. G. Padmanavan, former director of IISC Bangalore delivered the key note address during the programme on how technology would help and boost modern age agriculture system.

Professor Swapan Datta, former Vice-Chancelleor of Viswa- Bharati University was one of the eminent panelist of the programme and shared his views on the contribution of Dr. Meghnad Saha in Indian Science. Mr. Satyabrata Mukherjee, Chairperson - Agriculture & Rural Development Committee gives his vote of thanks to the eminent panelist of the programme. The programme was attended by more than 150 delegates including research scholars, agri-scientists and many other persons from agriculture domain.
