The India International Mega Trade Fair (IIMTF) at Bhubaneswar was jointly organized by G. S. Marketing Associates and The Bengal Chamber of Commerce & Industry (BCC&I) in association with Utkal Chamber of Commerce & Industry. A simultaneous event of the Home & Decor - an exclusive exhibition on Real Estate & Allied Industries in association with REDA - was also organised along the side-lines of IIMTF.

The fair was inaugurated on 25th January, 2019 by the Chief Guest, Dr. T. K. Chand - CMD of National Aluminium Company Limited (NALCO), and the Guests of Honor at the Inaugural Ceremony were:

• Mr. Ramesh Mahapatra, President of UCCI
• Mr. Tapan Mohanty, Former President, REDA

and Mr. Prakash Shah, Chairman, Organising Committee, IIMTF 2019. While the formal inauguration was done by lighting the 'Mangal Deep", Mr. Prakash Shah gave the Vote of Thanks wherein he thanked all the dignitaries present for gracing the occasion and the participants for their valuable cooperation & support and for putting their faith in the organizers.

Following were the highlights of the Fair:

• Partner Countries : Bangladesh and Afghanistan
• Focus Countries : Thailand and Turkey.
• Partner States : Karnataka & West Bengal
• Focus State : Jharkhand.
• Host State : Odisha.
• We had participation from 7 foreign countries and 11 states at the Fair.
This was a unique annual event with two Fairs being held under one platform

1. The India International Mega Trade Fair - with many A.C. Pavilions devoted to separate exhibition subjects like: International Products, Interiors, Lifestyle, Handicrafts, Handlooms, sarees, garments, products & services of Govt Depts, products of PSUs, Textiles, Electronics, Furniture, Health, Beauty & Fitness, Processed Food, Modular Kitchens, Toys, children's products, etc.

2. The Home & Decor: A Fair dedicated to the Real Estate, Housing Finance and the Allied Industries related to Real Estate.

We had a total of more than 450 companies participating in the IIMTF in Bhubaneswar. During the eleven days of the fair, we had approx. 5,50,000 visitors gracing the India International Mega Trade Fair 2019, in Bhubaneswar.
