The Bengal Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCC&I) in collaboration with Taipei World Trade Centre, Kolkata office organized a business delegation with the delegates from Taiwan on 12th April 2019 at Kolkata.

The objective of this delegation was to give an exposure to the delegates on the industrial environment in Kolkata and surrounding areas particularly in the area of Manufacturing and MSME.

As part of the delegation, the delegates visited factories like CESC Limited, Budge Budge, Kolkata and Neogi Technologies and Research Pvt Limited, Rajpur, Kolkata.

The delegation was led by the Secretariat from BCC&I and Mr Steven Liu, Director, Taipei World Trade Centre, Kolkata office.

The delegates were mostly representing the manufacturing companies in areas like Food and Beverages, Rubber, Precision Engineering, etc and overall the total number of companies visited were 17 (seventeen) approx.

The delegates had a good meeting with the companies they had visited and overall the meetings had become quite productive for the visiting delegates.
