The Bengal Chamber of Commerce and Industry in association
with TERI Council for Business Sustainability organized a Round Table Discussion on "Sustainability
as Strategy in Business.
The Discussion focused on how Sustainability may be brought in the mainstream of business strategy
across various sectors.
The discussion was driven by Mr. Deb A Mukherjee, Senior Vice President & Chairperson, Energy and
Environment Energy Committee, The Bengal Chamber of Commerce and Industry. Mr Arupendra Nath
Mullick, Vice-President, TERI Council for Business Sustainability along with Mr. Anand Upadhyay
Fellow, Renewable Energy Technology Division, from The Energy and Resources Institute (TERI) gave
us an insight through their presentation on how sustainability can be intrinsic part of the
business strategy.
