Mr. C N Raghupathi

Mr. C.N. Raghupati is presently the founding Director of MILES - Manipal Centre for Innovation Leadership and Entrepreneurship, a school established at MAHE-Bengaluru to focus on creating a culture of innovation and helping start-ups in their journey through a formal system. He also teaches as an adjunct faculty at MIT.

He is also the India Mentor of FalconX at Milpitas, US based incubator specializing in helping start-ups on their cross-border journey. He advises Global Environment Fund, South Asia a PE fund on their digital investments. Mr. Raghupati also advises a major telco on their cloud business and is on the advisory board of several start-ups in geospatial technology, software performance management, etc.

Raghu is on the Board of GITA-Global Innovation and Technology Alliance, a CII-Government of India company and INCLEN (International Clinical Epidemiological Network) Prior to this Raghu was a Senior Adviser at Infosys Ltd till early September 2022. He retired from Infosys as Senior VP and Head of India Business in September 2021. Raghu has the experience of leading large digital transformation projects like Income-Tax, GST, MCA21, APDRP etc. In his 20+ years at Infosys, he led business in the USA for a while.

An active participant in public policy debate and formulation, he was a part of major committees in the Power and Transport Sector. Prior to his 25-year career in the digital world, he spent 13 years designing and building power plants and chemical plants.

He has attended school at Andhra University, IIT Madras and Stanford. He has been given the "Lifetime achievement award for building large complex public software systems" by the IEEE.

Mr. Anirudh A Damani

Accoutred with over 15 years of entrepreneurial experience, Mr. Anirudh A. Damani is a fourth-generation entrepreneur and a second-generation investor from the Damani family. He was the first to introduce the concept of microVC firms in India and is currently the managing partner of Artha Venture Fund ('AVF'), the country's first early-stage microVC firm.

Under his leadership, AVF has made significant investments in the B2B, SaaS, B2C, FinTech, and SpaceTech segments. After a successful sales and entrepreneurial stint in Texas, he moved back to India in 2012. He started investing in and mentoring early-stage founders through his family office's alternative investment arm, Artha India Ventures ('AIV'). Artha Group's portfolio has 100+ investments spread across India, the USA, Israel, and Africa, with multibagger investments in OYO, Purplle, LeverageEdu, Tala, IconBuild, Rapido, Coutloot, Chai Break, Karza Technologies, Stay Vista, Mobilewalla, and Exotel.

In addition to AIV, he also co-founded Artha Energy Resources and Artha Venture Fund under the business umbrella of Artha Group. Based on his early-stage investment strategy, Mr. Damani launched AVF, initially aimed at being a ₹200 crore (~$30 million) but ended up at ₹225 crore corpus. His knack for picking winners is demonstrated by the 10.2x return on investment his overall start-up portfolio has delivered in less than a decade at an IRR higher than 50%. AVF's dedicated portfolio includes AgniKul, LenDenClub, Everest Fleet, Daalchini, Elev8 India Sportz, and more. In addition to AIV and AVF, he also co-founded Artha Energy Resources (a renewable energy independent power producer) under the business umbrella of Artha Group.

Mr. Anil Joshi

Mr. Anil Joshi is the Founder and Managing Partner at Unicorn India Ventures, a leading Venture Capital Fund focusing on early-stage investments in tech companies. With over two decades of experience in the field, he pioneered angel investments in India as the head of operations and President at Mumbai Angels, one of the most reputable and prolific Angel Investment forums in India. As an early mover in early 2000 in this segment, Anil was investing in budding companies even before venture investment had taken any formal shape in India.

Within the start-up ecosystem, Mr. Joshi has been at the helm of over 100 venture-financing deals. He serves on the board of several companies in the field of Fintech, Robotic, Meditech, IOT, Bigdata, SaaS and is involved with multiple incubation centres as a board member and mentor in India as well as internationally. Additionally, he also advices the government and industry bodies on start-ups regarding policy. Young entrepreneurs draw upon his vast experience for guidance and strategic direction for their own start-ups.

As an accomplished public speaker with informed opinions about the sector, he is much sought after at start-up events both in the domestic and the international circuit. His speaking engagements have taken him to countries like Singapore, Malaysia, USA, Canada, China, France, Australia and the Middle East.

Mr. Joshi's corporate experience includes management functions in medium and large organizations, project management, joint ventures and business development. Prior to joining Mumbai Angels, he was heading new projects and investment in start-ups with Artheon Group, a Telecom, IT & Energy group. His early career started as the head of a branch office at Century Rayon, a leading Indian textile conglomerate, after which he moved to Business Access India Pvt. Ltd., providing consulting services to Scandinavian companies from diverse sectors establishing their presence in the Asian markets. He then moved to Transasia Biomedical Ltd., India's largest manufacturer and exporter of bio-medical equipment.

Mr. Deepak Daftari

Mr. Deepak Daftari is helping Fortune 100 & 500 clients / companies acquire strategic domain assets and potential billion dollar brand names. Mr. Daftari have 15+ years of extensive knowledge in stealth acquisitions of desired Domain Name Brands, having closed numerous 6 and 7 figure domain deals for Self Portfolio and Client requests. He owns a large portfolio of very valuable Domain Names like Mischief.com, Majesty.com, CoFounder.com, HolidayPackages.com, Terminals.com, Competencies.com, SORU.com, DebitCard.org etc to name just a few of the prominent ones.

One of the largest portfolio holders of Two Letter .CO.UK and .UK names, worldwide, like AU.co.uk CA.co.uk CR.co.uk SG.co.uk JO.co.uk etc to name a few. Mr. Daftari is an active Angel Investor in SaaS, Product, Health Tech and Food Tech Companies. Some of his invested companies are- Agnikul, Cosmos, Astrogate Labs, EduGorilla, ShieldSquare, HealthBuds. He also runs one of the oldest education portals in India http://eSiksha.com, since 1999 with a 1 Million plus user base.

Mr. Mohit Gulati

Mr. Mohit Gulati is the CIO & Managing Partner of the AIF Cat-2 fund called ITI Growth Opportunities Fund which specialises in Early & Growth stage venture investing. He's a passionate engineer from Pune University and has a PGDM in Finance from IIT Bombay.

Mr. Gulati has 13+ yrs of active experience within the Fund Management space. In his individual capacity, he has led first-round deals across ECOM Express(Seris D), Grab(RIL Acquired), 1MG(Tata acquired), WigzoTech(Shiprocket acquired), HumourMe, and two dozen early-stage ventures. Within the ITI Group of 21 businesses, the technology fund under Mr. Gulati specializes in investments in Health Tech, New Age FMCG Brands, SaaS, IoT, and New Age mobility/Logistics.

The 1st fund currently has 21 active investments and 2 exits. July also marks the beginning of his second venture fund with a target corpus of 300crs

Mr. Harinarayan Sharma

He is the CEO of Manipal Foundation and Sr VP, MEMG International India Ltd. He has over 38 years of experience across various industries in Investment Management, Corporate Strategy, Mergers and Acquisitions including divestitures, Investment Banking, Corporate and Structured finance. As CEO of the Foundation, the CSR arm of the Manipal group, he drives initiatives in areas of rural education, healthcare and healthcare impact, women empowerment, skilling amongst others.

As part of the Manipal Group Chairman's office, he drives special initiatives, is a board member of investee companies in Diagnostics and Elder Care, oversees and mentors early-stage Investments. He has been instrumental in establishing a school of Innovation and Entrepreneurship (MILES) at MAHE. In this long journey with the group, he has over 10 plus years in the healthcare focussed in driving M&A and growth. These years of expertise in the field of health and education has made him equipped him in curating innovative initiatives for the CSR wing of the group in areas of rural education and healthcare.

Mr. Manoj Kumar Agarwal

Mr Manoj Kumar Agarwal is Founder and Managing Partner at SEAFUND, a India based Venture Capital Fund focusing on early stage investments in technology businesses with focus on Deeptech. He has been also an active Angel Investor, investing in multiple startups.

He has wide experience both as an entrepreneur and as a corporate leader in Fund deployment, Fund raising, setting up joint ventures. M & A and business development. Manoj has invested into 16 ventures as part of the fund and about 20+ deals as an Angel Investor. He is currently in his 2nd Fund.

Manoj serves on the Advisory board of multiple companies both in India and overseas and is involved with various Incubation and Accelerator Programs. He has been actively participating in various Startup programs both in India & Overseas. He is passionate about mentoring and advising startups. He is also part of a Seed Investment committee of the DST, Govt of India funded Incubators.

Before Starting SEAFUND, Manoj has been helping some MSME's scale up their businesses, especially in IT and Telecom space. Prior to that he was CEO of a listed entity in India with Global presence across Floriculture, Food, Retail and IT. He has managed the fund deployment, management and investment strategy of the Group, which included risk assessment, investments in new business areas like telecom, food processing, retail & acquisitions, corporate fund raise by way of issuance of global depositary receipts (GDRs), foreign currency convertible bonds (FCCBs) and subsequently, raising capital from private equity funds.

He was instrumental in starting some of the new businesses like Internet Services, Food Processing, Floriculture Retail and also involved in various M & A deals including acquisition of the largest Rose farm in the world based in Kenya. Manoj was actively involved in managing operations across India, Africa, Europe and Middle East. Manoj is an early Tech & Internet Entrepreneur where he setup a Multimedia venture in Kolkata, which he exited and then was part of the founding team of a Venture funded Internet Startup In Bangalore which he exited in 2002. Mr. Subir Chakraborty

Mr. Chakraborty is President, The Bengal Chamber of Commerce and Industry and Managing Director and CEO, Exide Industries Limited.

Mr. Chakraborty has spent nearly four decades working in various capacities in several organizations, out of which he spent more than twenty five years at Exide Industries Ltd, rising from the level of General Manager to the position of Managing Director & CEO.

He chairs the Boards of several companies such as Chloride Batteries S E Asia Pte Ltd (CBSEA), Espex Batteries Ltd (Espex), Chloride Metals Ltd, Exide Leclanche Energy Pvt Ltd, Exide Energy Solutions Ltd and Chloride International Ltd. CBSEA and Espex are located in Singapore and UK respectively, while the other companies are located in India.

Mr. Toshihiro Mizutani

Mr. Toshihiro Mizutani is the Director General of JETRO Bengaluru.

After graduating from university, Toshihiro started his career in the sales division of electronic machinery company.

Mr. Mizutani later transitioned to the research field, working for several years at JETRO, a Japanese governmental organization. Since July 2022, he has been actively involved in supporting the activities of Japanese companies in India while serving as the Director General of JETRO Bengaluru.

Mr. S. Radhakrishnan, alumnus of St. Xavier's College, Kolkata, he obtained a Law degree and qualified as a professional Company Secretary. He is a Fellow Member of the Institute of Company Secretaries of India and a Member of the All India Management Association.

He joined Dishergarh Power Supply Company Limited (now India Power Co. Ltd.), a Power Generation and Distribution Company as Company Secretary and went on to be at the helm of affairs as Managing Director of DPSC Limited on January 25, 2003, a post at which he remained till February 10, 2010.

Mr. Radhakrishnan was also instrumental in forming DESCON Limited in March, 1995. Mr. Dipankar Mukherjee

Mr. Dipankar Mukherjee is the Chief of Marketing and Sales at mJunction. He is responsible for devising and execution of the Corporate Marketing and Sales strategy and achieving the sales revenue target for business units. His responsibilities also include Account Management and delivering growth in new business opportunities for domestic as well as global markets.

Mr. Mukherjee joined mJunction in November 2016 and has more than 20 years of experience in the Information Technology Industry handling leadership positions in Marketing, Sales and Programme Management mostly around large transformational IT Projects and also consulting customers in their journey of organisational change and business transformation. Mr. Subrata Mukherjee is the Chief Operating Officer of Adamas Tech Consulting Pvt. Ltd. He brings in more than 30 years of consulting experience across multiple domains. He has experience in managing start-ups, angel funded organizations & venture driven organizations. Mr. Mukherjee spent several years nurturing and building organizations, as the MD at Acclaris and the Chief Operating officer at DCG Data-Core. Prof. Dipti Prasad Mukherjee

Prof. Dipti Prasad Mukherjee is a senior professor in the Computer and Communication Sciences Division and currently acting as the Deputy Director of the Indian Statistical Institute. Prof Mukherjee's research interests are in Image Processing, Computer Vision and Computer Graphics. Prof. Mukherjee has published several pioneering research papers in several international journals and is also the author of two books in Computer Graphics and Multi-media. He has undertaken several consulting assignments for leading business houses of India, including Tata Steel.

Mr. Agnimitra Biswas is the CEO of IDEAS Technology Innovation Hub at Indian Statistical Institute, Kolkata. Prof. B. S. Daya Sagar

Dr. B. S. Daya Sagar is a Professor of the Systems Science and Informatics Unit (SSIU) of Indian Statistical Institute and the Head of the Indian Statistical Institute - Bangalore Centre. Sagar received his MSc and PhD degrees in Geoengineering and Remote Sensing from the Faculty of Engineering, Andhra University. Dr. Sagar's focus area is developing spatial algorithms meant for geo-pattern retrieval, analysis, reasoning, modelling, and visualization by using mathematical morphology and fractal geometry concepts.

Mr. Vinod Shankar is an MBA professional with over 23 years of experience in Sales & Marketing, Business Development, Client Relationship Management and Team Management. He is presently associated with AIC-DSU Innovation Foundation as Chief Executive Officer. Mr. Shankar has been part of the Start-up Ecosystem for over 10 years.
