Mr. Gautam Ray
Bengal Chamber IT Conclave President, BCC&I and President - Corporate, RPSG Group.

Mr. Gautam Ray, Fellow of The Institution of Engineers, graduated in Electrical Engineering from Calcutta University (erstwhile Bengal Engineering College, Shibpur, presently IIEST) in 1981 and completed Post Graduation in Electrical Power System, from the same Institute in 1983. He was, till recently, Executive Director of CESC Limited, age-old power utility serving the city of Kolkata for more than 100 years and also President (HR), Power Group of RPSG. Presently, he is President - Corporate, RPSG Group.

Mr. Ray has an experience of close to 40 years of working in Power System operations and load dispatch, before he migrated to HR & Admin. He was instrumental in working on a collaborative project with Singapore Power for improvement in Distribution Sector. He also established AIPM (Asia Institute of Power Management) under CESC, which imparted training and consultancy services for many power utilities of India and neighbouring countries.

He is currently the President of The Bengal Chamber of Commerce and Industry. He is the Chairman of National Safety Council - West Bengal Chapter, Former President - Calcutta Management Association for 2015-16 and 2016-17.


Mr. Arnab Basu

Mr. Arnab Basu is a Partner in PwC India, spearheading the firm's Advisory business, including Consulting, Risk and Deals. He brings rich consulting experience in diverse fields like Business model reinvention, Business Transformation, Operating Model Design, Performance Management, Removing Complexity, and defining Digital Strategy leveraging Enterprise Applications. He sits on PwC's Global Advisory Leadership team and has worked with a range of top tier clients across multiple geographies and industries, including Industrial Manufacturing, Metals & Mining, Oil & Gas.

Mr. Basu joined PwC in 2001 post his MBA from IIM Calcutta and specialized in strategy led business transformations using digital platforms and solutions and related Change programs. He is also an Enterprise Apps methodology expert within the global PwC network. Arnab is also responsible for PwC's investments in emerging areas like Climate, Cyber, Gen AI and the corresponding growth strategy and building high performance teams.


Mr. Gopala Ramanan
Bengal Chamber IT Conclave Vice President & JAPAC Controller, Oracle India.

Mr. Ramanan is a finance leader with 3 decades of experience in corporate finance, controllership, M&A, treasury, taxation, corporate secretarial & legal. He has served on many Corporate Board in the capacity of non-independent director. He has been with Oracle for the last 20+ years and currently the Vice President and JAPAC Controller, managing the financial controllership, US GAAP, local statutory accounting, mergers & acquisitions, treasury for the region, audits ESG risk and compliance. He recently joined the Board of Directors of OFSS, a listed entity. He shares the Oracle success stories and his experience with CFOs to achieve operational excellence.

Prior to joining Oracle, he worked in senior level with Standard Chartered Bank in India and abroad and a software company after starting his career as an investment banker.

He is a regular speaker in professional institutes, business schools and industrial forums on Finance, Technology and Leadership.

By qualification, he is a Cost & Management Accountant (passed with an All India Rank in the Final examinations), Chartered Accountant, Company Secretary and successfully completed his Executive MBA from IIM (Indian Institute of Management), Bangalore. His passion for risk and compliance made him to do criminology and forensic science course apart from pursuing his masters in psychology. He is a certified six sigma Green Belt and certified Mentor Coach.


Mr. Rajesh Dhar
Bengal Chamber IT Conclave Senior Director, Sales Head-Industry Verticals, HPE India.

Rajesh Dhar is the Senior Director, Sales Head for Industry Verticals at Hewlett Packard Enterprise, India - the global edge-to-cloud platform as-a-service company.

In his current role, he is responsible for driving strategy and sales across all industry verticals (FSI, Telecom, MDI & Public Sector) for HPE products, i.e. servers, storage, and DC Networking.

An industry veteran with over 25 years of experience in sales and business management in the IT sector, Rajesh has been associated with Hewlett-Packard for over 20 years. He has extensive experience in direct sales, segment sales, channel management, product marketing, P&L management, media interactions, and IT asset financing.

During his diverse roles at HPE, he has managed large teams successfully and mentored many IT professionals. At present, he's leading the team that looks after HPE's overall practices for Outcome-Based Selling. The team is responsible for driving HPE's Account Management and Industry Vertical penetration for India across all customer segments, specifically for Data and Cloud focused accounts.

In his previous role, Rajesh was responsible for helping customers design & build IT systems to drive aggressive digital transformations & leverage benefits of hybrid cloud architectures. He also led HP Financial Services for India, an in-house NBFC predominantly focused on IT asset leasing.

Rajesh holds bachelor's degree in Engineering (BE) from National Institute of Technology. His Passion and Interests are Technology, Coaching, Travel & Music.


Mr. Vinod Karumampoyil

Vinod Karumampoyil leads the Digital Transformation Offiice (DTO) for Cisco India & SAARC. He is also the Program Execution Leader for Cisco's flagship Country Digital Acceleration (CDA) program. Vinod's charter includes, but is not limited to, accelerating the national digitization agenda by building long-term relationships with leaders at the national level as well as in the industry and academia, strengthening mindshare, and increasing our footprint in the market.

Vinod and his team have been pivotal in providing solutions and driving success across several verticals, especially Smart Cities, Agriculture, Transportation, e-Gov, and Utilities.

Vinod joined Cisco in September 2016 to head Advanced Services Business Development for Collaboration and IoT architectures for the APJC theatre. Prior to this, he was with AGC Networks, Avaya Global Connect, and Servion Global Solutions. Vinod has over 25 years of experience in the IT industry, building business operations in India, Europe, and the Middle East.

Vinod was awarded a Bachelor of Technology from the National Institute of Technology (NIT) Calicut, formerly the Calicut Regional Engineering College, in Electrical and Electronics Engineering. He is passionate about developing cutting-edge technologies and business solutions for the market while forging long-term strategic customer-partner relationships. Mr. Datta holds a dual role of Head of Product Management for Generative AI on Amazon SageMaker and Business General Manager for AWS Human-in-Loop (HIL) AI/ML services. As Head of Product Management for Generative AI on SageMaker,he is pioneering the transformation of SageMaker into the world's best platform for customers to build and operate their Generative AI applications in the most seamless and cost-effective manner, and is responsible for product strategy, roadmap, GTM and revenue for Generative AI workloads on SageMaker. As Business GM for AWS HIL, he leads a team of 300+ full time employees (product management, growth and go-to-market, business operations and P&L management, solution architecture, customer engineering and data operations) helping make Generative AI and bespoke Deep Learning models functional for customers like Krikey AI, Stability, AI21, Workday as well as for Amazon services like Amazon Q, Amazon Artificial General Intelligence (AGI) and Amazon Bedrock.

Prior to this he led product management for SageMaker Training, Feature Management and Data Processing services for 2.5 years and spearheading the transformation of SageMaker from an easy-to-use developer platform to the AI platform of choice for training some of the largest Generative AI models in the world like Bloom GPT, Falcon, AI21 Jurassic and more in the most cost performance effective manner in the cloud. This helped make SageMaker one of the fastest growing services in AWS history.

He has been with AWS for 5.5 years, spending stints in product management in Amazon S3 and AWS Industry Products before SageMaker. Prior to AWS he held product management, finance and business operations roles at IBM and before that he held multiple technical and business leadership roles at Intel, Nvidia and Texas Instruments.

He received his M.S. and Ph.D. in Computer Engineering from the University of Texas at Austin in 2004 and 2006 respectively and MBA from University of Chicago Booth School of Business in 2012. In addition to his business experience, he continues to innovate technical solutions with his teams and customers, and he is an inventor of 24 issued and 3 pending patents on areas ranging from Artificial Intelligence, Cloud Computing, Storage to chip design.
