The Bengal Chamber of Commerce & Industry organized an Interactive Session with Shri Krushna Chandra Panigrahy, Director General, Bureau of Energy Efficiency (BEE), to discuss on 'ADEETIE' Scheme of BEE on 7th August at the Bengal Chamber premises.
The session was also joined by Dr. Ajay Mathur, Former Director General International Solar Alliance BEE is entrusted with implementing the flagship scheme ‘ADEETIE’ (Assistance in Deploying Energy Efficient Technologies in Industries & Establishments). ADEETIE is a Rs. 1,000 crore initiative by the Ministry of Power implemented through the Bureau of Energy Efficiency to handhold MSMEs to shift towards efficient technologies and measures, assisted with Interest Subvention of 5% (Small and Micro) and 3% (Medium enterprises).
The discussion was joined by 40 MSMEs with a majority representing energy intensive sectors like foundry, engineering and leather sectors, alongside participants from other sectors like food processing and textiles.
