SREI Foundation has supported the COVID cause by providing food essentials in areas of Asansol and Guwahati. Each packet contained atta (2kg), rice (5 kg), dal (500g) and potatoes (2 kg).
They have currently distributed over 2000 such packets.
They have also distributed food ingredients (atta, rice, dal and potatoes) to around 6500 underprivileged families in their licensing area which is badly affected due to the lockdown.
5 camps of 1000 people each were also organized in Asansol by India Power Corporation Limited
