The Bengal Chamber of Commerce and Industry organized a Special “Adda” Session & Felicitation of Ms Manushi Chhillar, Miss World 2017 on 2nd February 2018 at The Bengal Lounge, The Bengal Chamber Premises.

Ms Manushi Chhillar was accompanied by Ms. Julia Morley, Chairperson& CEO, Miss World Limited, Ms Stephanie Del Valle, Miss World 2016 and other Continental Winners of Miss World. Their felicitation was followed by a special ‘Adda’ session, the discussion topic being “Women in India”. The objective of this session was to discuss and promote awareness about Sanitation, Hygiene and Quality of Life.

Eminent panelistsat the session were Mr Sujoy Prasad Chatterjee - Essayist, Poet & Actor; Dr Rupali Basu, Chairperson – Women Empowerment Committee, BCC&I; Ms Agnimitra Paul, Fashion Designer; Ms Keya Seth, Entrepreneur- Keya Seth Exclusive; Ms Urmi Basu, Founder – New Light and Mr Jaydeep Mandal, Founder & Managing Director, Aakar Innovations Pvt. Ltd. and Co-founder & Director, Aakar Social Ventures. Ms Manushi Chhillar and Ms Julia Morley also joined the session. Ms Monideepa Banerjie, Executive Editor East - NDTV moderated the session.

The programme also included a performance by some special children representing APT Centre Kolkata. The programme was very well attended by guests from various walks of life.
