About Centre of Excellence (CoE) - MSME
BACKGROUND
The Bengal Chamber of Commerce & Industry and Indo-German Chamber of Commerce signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) in the august presence of
Dr. Amit Mitra, Hon'ble Minister-in-Charge, Department of Finance, Industry Commerce & Enterprises, Micro Small and Medium Enterprises and Textiles,
Information Technology & Electronics and you at our Annual General Meeting on 12th September 2018.
The overarching objective of this partnership, which perhaps is the first-of-its-kind between a Chamber of Commerce from India and a Bilateral Chamber, is to catalyze
and assist MSMEs in their various business processes and operations. The Bengal Chamber has tied up with the Indo German Chamber of Commerce (IGCC) as our partner
in this activity. IGCC is providing their unique offerings for MSMEs bringing to board German expertise.
The CoE aims to support the MSMEs of the State to reach greater heights by enabling their competitiveness, innovations and adherence to highest standard of quality.
