The Bengal Chamber of Commerce in association with MSMSE-DI organized an awareness programme for MSMEs titled “Awareness Programme on Intellectual Property Rights (IPRs)” on 9th March 2018 at MSME-DI Campus Kolkata.The objective of this awareness programme was to sensitize MSMEs of West Bengal regarding the new laws for subsidy on IPR and how they could apply for the patent, copyright, trademark and GI. Representative of Government Institution also spoke how MSMEs could able to get certificate after sample test of their product. Through the interactive session of this programme, MSME-DI provided necessary information about IPRs and how IPRs can play an important role for the MSME fraternity.

The programme witnessed the deliberations of eminent speakers like Shri. Saha, ISS, Additional Director General, National Sample Survey Office, Kolkata.
