The Bengal Chamber of Commerce and Industry, with a special focus on Foreign Trade, has been organizing workshops on foreign trade related issues for the last few years in order to assist the EXIM community. The International Trade Cell of the Bengal Chamber, with the objective of updating exporters and importers about the various changes post GST, organized a workshop on “International Trade Documentation – Post GST” on 16th September2017. The workshop was conducted by Mr. Sudhakar Kasture. Mr. Kasture is a Director of Helpline Impex Pvt. Ltd. and EXIM Institute (A Division of Helpline Impex Pvt. Ltd.), Mumbai & Partner of Generation Next Business Consulting. He is a renowned consultant and advisor to many National & Multinational Corporations, Commercial Banks etc. He is a Visiting faculty to various institutes like S. P. Jain Institute of Management Studies & Research, the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, Institute of Company Secretaries of India, Foreign Exchange Dealers’ Association of India, Training colleges of Bank of Baroda, Central Bank of India, ICICI Bank, Oriental Bank of Commerce, YES Bank, Axis Bank Export Credit Guarantee Corporation of India Ltd., MSME Development Institute, Mumbai [Formerly known as SISI], etc. He has In-House Training Programmes in various leading organisations like IOCL,BPCL,HPCL,MRPL, Tata International, Tata Steel Ltd., Aditya Birla Group, Godrej Group, Sterlite Group, Blue Star Ltd., Castrol India Ltd., L&T, PricewaterhouseCoopers Pvt Ltd. (PwC) and others and has conducted Export Promotional Programmes on behalf of CHEMEXCIL, CAPEXIL, PHARMEXCIL, EEPC, FIEO,SRTEPC, WTC, AIFMP, etc. He has also conducted training programme for Telesoft Technologies Ltd. in UK and Programmes on SEZs in India on behalf of various organisations at New Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, Chennai, Bangalore, Hyderabad and other cities in India. He has served as an expert on the Task Force for “Exports Transaction Cost Reduction Project” constituted by the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Government of India.He has authored a research based Book titled “Exporting Chemicals”. The Book was launched by the then Union Minister of Commerce, Industry and Textiles, ShriAnand Sharma, in the “Export Award Function” of CHEMEXCIL, on 30th August, 2013.
