An exclusive Luncheon Meeting with the Australian MP and Minister, Hon Mr. Keith Pitt MP, Assistant Minister for Trade, Tourism and Investment, Federal Member for Hinkler, Queensland was held on 30th August 2017 at The Oberoi Grand, Kolkata. Mr. Pitt was accompanied by Mr. Chris Elstoft, Deputy High Commissioner, Australian High Commission, New Delhi and Mr. Lindsay Hermes, Assistant Adviser, Office of the Hon Keith Pitt MP, Assistant Minister for Trade, Tourism and Investment. From The Bengal Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Mr. B B Chatterjee, Vice President; Mr. Deb A Mukherjee, Chairperson of Energy and Environment Committee; Dr.Suborno Bose, Chairperson of Education Committee and Mr. Subhodip Ghosh, Director General were present at the meeting.

The objective of the meeting was to discuss the collaboration and business opportunities between Bengal and Australia.
