The Bengal Chamber of Commerce and Industry has worked on a project proposal for a prospective study on Enhancing Connectivity of land-rail corridors along the international border between the Indian State of West Bengal and Bangladesh with an objective of creating a Master Plan for overall growth of the State of West Bengal in terms of employment and revenue generation through trade and business by reaping benefits from the Growth Quadrangle (BBIN: Bangladesh-Bhutan-India-Nepal).
