The Institution of Engineers (India), in association with The Bengal Chamber of Commerce and Industry, organized their “49th Engineers’ Day Celebration” on 15th September 2016 at Sir R N Mookherjee Hall in The Institution of Engineers (India), Kolkata. Theme of the programme was “Skill Development for Young Engineers to Reform the Core Sector: Vision 2025.”

Shri Sovandeb Chattopadhyay, Hon’ble Minister-in-Charge, Department of Power and Non-Conventional Energy Sources, Government of West Bengal was the Chief Guest of the programme. Prof. (Dr.) Saumen Kumar Mahapatra, Hon’ble Minister-in-Charge, Water Resources Investigation and Development Department, Government of West Bengal was also present.

Mr. Sutanu Ghosh, President, The Bengal Chamber of Commerce and Industry graced the occasion as the Guest of Honour and delivered the Theme Address.
