Introduction to Engineering Materials for Industry

The Bengal Chamber partnering IIT, Kharagpur had organized its seventh edition of the two full day annual workshop titled "Introduction to Engineering Materials for Industry" between 17 - 18th August 2017 at the Chamber premises.

The objective of the workshop was to give a detailed insight to the participants about the integral aspects of Engineering Materials i.e. about its science & technology and other aspects. Besides, the workshop had helped the participants to understand the various applications related to Engineering, Manufacturing, Mining, Construction and other related areas.

The workshop was organized by eminent faculty from IIT, Kharagpur who has proven academic record and rich Industry experience. Prof (Dr) Siddhartha Das, Head - Mettalurgical & Materials Engineering Department, IIT, Kharagpur and his expert team had organized the two full day Workshop. The total number of participants for the workshop was 35 approx and they represent sectors like Engineering, Manufacturing, Mining, Construction and other allied sectors.
