The Cracow Chamber of Commerce and Industry from Cracow, Poland led
by their President, Mr. Andrzej Zdebski organized a trade mission to Bengal.
The objective of this mission was to identify potential business partners
from this region and to discuss the possibilities, conditions and areas in
which effective economic cooperation would be taken forward. The Bengal
Chamber of Commerce and Industry met the Polish delegation members
in Kolkata and organized a focused B2B meet for the delegation members
with local industry participants on 30th November 2016 from 11 am to 1
pm at The Chamber premises.
The focused sectors of the business session were - Plastics & Polymer
Products (Manufacturing), Sanitary Products, Hydraulics, Radiators
(Consumer/Industrial Products Manufacturing), Safety & Security (Services),
Conveyors, Rollers & Allied Mining/Production Line/Construction/ Industrial
Tools (Manufacturing), Mining Accessories Including Gate Roof Support
Control and Other Steel Accessories (Industrial Tools Manufacturing) and
Chamber Of Commerce (Advisory; Not-For-Profit; Developmental Sector
Company), which would like to have fruitful cooperation with the businesses
of Poland and Bengal.
Mr. Andrzej Zdebski, President, The Cracow Chamber of Commerce and
Industry graced the session along with Shri Kaushick Saha, Executive
Director, West Bengal Industrial Development Cooperation and Mr Indrajit
Sen, Senior Vice President, The Bengal Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
Shri Kaushick Saha, Executive Director, WBIDC delivered a presentation on
“West Bengal-Emerging growth engine of India”. His insights made the
discussions and B2B Networking thereafter more meaningful and relevant.
Mr. Andrzej Zdebski, President, The Cracow Chamber of Commerce and
Industry made a presentation on “Economic Potential of Malopolska,
Poland”. His insights on the business landscape of Cracow enlightened the
representatives of the local industries on the opportunities of doing business
in Poland.
The meeting included a most vibrant B2B session during which the 40-odd
local business participants including those from large organizations,
interacted across the table with their Polish counterparts.
