The Indo-Canada Chamber of Commerce (ICCC) had embarked on their “Annual India Mission in January 2017”. The objective of this trade mission was to strengthen the bilateral trade relationships between Canada and India. The delegation members of The Indo-Canada Chamber had intended to visit 7 Indian cities - Mumbai, Kolkata, Hyderabad, Bengaluru, Gandhinagar, Ahmedabad and New Delhi.
The Bengal Chamber of Commerce and Industry organized B2B meetings for the delegation members of the Indo-Canada Chamber with the industry participants on 6th January 2017 in the Chamber premises.
Her Worship Bonnie Crombie, Hon’ble Mayor, City of Mississauga graced the session along with Mr. Jay Banerjei , Chair-Trade Committee, Indo-Canada Chamber of Commerce, Mr. Pappur Shankar, Vice President- Finance and SME, Indo-Canada Chamber of Commerce, Mr. Arjun Kumar Dutta, Trade Commissioner, Canadian Trade Office , Kolkata and Mrs Anjana Bharat, Regional Chair, Indo Canada Business Chamber and NE Chapter. Mr. Sutanu Ghosh, President and Mr. Subhodip Ghosh, Director General, The Bengal Chamber of Commerce and Industry were also present along with the senior members who participated in the Business session.
Mayor Bonnie Crombie delivered a presentation on the City of Mississauga. Her presence and insights on business opportunities and work-life balance in Mississauga made the session more prestigious and relevant. Mr. Jay Banerjei gave an induction on the “Annual India Mission” organized by the Indo-Canada Chamber of Commerce. Mr. Pappur Shankar spoke on manufacturing industry in Canada. Mr. Arjun Kumar Dutta addressed on Indo-Canada Trade Relationship and Mrs Anjana Bharat highlighted the works of Indo-Canada Business Chamber in India.
The Indo-Canada Chamber of Commerce signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with The Bengal Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
