Mr. Craig L. Hall, U.S. Consul General in Kolkata and Mr. Jonathan T. Ward, Principal Commercial Officer, U.S. Consulate General in Kolkata joined the Managing Committee Meeting of The Bengal Chamber of Commerce and Industry on 6th December 2016 in the Chamber.

India, while positioning itself as a preferred investment destination, is targeting to increase the bilateral business with U.S. to $500 billion, from the current level of approximately $100 billion, in the near future. The discussions included the areas of opportunities, challenges, and aspects related to bilateral business development. During the interaction, sectors like energy, agriculture and others got special mention.
