The Bengal Chamber in association with MACJ-A Buyer’s Choice Home Inspections Pvt. Ltd organised an interactive session on RERA and Home Inspection on 28th April 2017 at Kolkata.
The Real Estate (Regulation and Development) Act, 2016 (RERA) is an Act of the Parliament of India which seeks to promote transparency, accountability and efficiency in the construction, execution & quality of real estate projects and boost investment in the real estate sector.
Home Inspection is a
- non-invasive, visual examination of all accessible areas, systems & components of a home/property
- using modern technology and specialized tools
- is designed to describe the condition of the systems and components of home/property
- identifies and reports issues within specific systems and components, that are both observed and deemed critical by the inspector
Mr. Craig Hall, Consul General, U.S Consulate General, Kolkata, graced the occasion, as the Guest of Honour. Mr. Nandu Belani, President, CREDAI & Promoter Belani Group joined as Special Guest. The interactive session was moderated by Mr. Mahendra Sureka, Director & CEO, MACJ – A Buyers Choice Home Inspections, India and Ms. Yamini Sureka, Home Inspector and Partner, MACJ Services LLP.
