Mr. Jan Grimbrandt, Chairman and CEO, Boson Energy SA joined the meeting of the Energy and Environment Committee, The Bengal Chamber on 18th January 2017 in the Chamber. He was accompanied by Mr. Aditya Sharma, Senior Vice President, Boson Energy SA.

His topic of interaction was Waste to Energy. He shared the technological advancements in the realm of Plasma Assisted Gasification (PAG) which may be implemented for using the waste involved in the process of consumption of electricity for cooling for generation of energy. His presentation was in the context of urban development as cooling requirement increases with urban prosperity. He emphasized that this integrated waste management system would be a success story only with cost effectiveness.
