The Bengal Chamber of Commerce and Industry, with a special focus on Foreign Trade, has been organizing workshops for the last few years to spread awareness on the various facets of international trade and to facilitate the EXIM community. We have also organized seminars & B2B meetings focusing on regions like GCC, Eurasia and South East Asia.

The Bengal Chamber also being keen to be the forum for advocacy and to be the preferred networking platform for the EXIM Community & the Government, has recently constituted an International Trade Cell, chaired by Mr. Ardhendu Mandal, President - Business Development, Techno Electric & Engineering Co. Ltd. The International Trade Cell, with the objective of updating exporters on the various policy changes and for enabling an in-depth knowledge on the subject, organized a workshop on “Export & Import Documentation & Procedures and Important Customs Provisions” on 10th June 2016.

The workshop was attended by various corporates like TMILL, Century Ply, Balmer Lawrie, Exide Industries Ltd. and others. The workshop covered various kinds of Export & Import documentation and procedures of Import and Customs provisions in detail.

Mr. Sudhakar Kasture, Director of Helpline Impex Pvt. Ltd. and EXIM Institute (A Division of Helpline Impex Pvt. Ltd.), Mumbai & Partner of Generation Next Business Consulting was the faculty. He is also a renowned consultant and advisor to many National & Multinational Corporations, Commercial Banks etc.
