The Bengal Chamber is supporting in the Bengal Celebrity League, a T20 tournament with 6 teams comprising of players from the entertainment and film industry in Bengal. The Bengal Chamber is the official partner of Jalpaiguri Royals owned by Mr. Arijit Datta, Managing Director, Priya Entertainments Pvt. Ltd. and Chairperson of the Cultural Affairs Committee, The Bengal Chamber.

Before the tournament commenced, the Chamber cricket team played a T20 game with the Jalpaiguri Royals at the Mainland China Cricket Academy (at Vivekananda Park) of the renowned cricketer and selector, Mr. Sambaran Banerjee on 15th December 2015.

Mr. Jishu Sengupta and Mr. Prasenjit Chatterjee, well-known actors were present apart from Mr. Arijit Dutta. The match was an absorbing affair with both teams having a centurion on their sides.

Jalpaiguri Royals won the toss and elected to bat first on a placid wicket. The ball was coming on to the bat free and easy and the batting team started well. After a solid start they lost a couple of wickets in the middle and the wickets started tumbling one after another. Half way down the innings Jalpaiguri Royals were 80 for 6. Then came the seventh wicket partnership that turned the match around. Jalpaiguri skipper Yusuf Chishti and Anirban Aditya added more than hundred with the batting team piling up 213. The last four overs yielded 81 runs. Yusuf ended up scoring an unbeaten 102.

Though the wicket was easy to bat on but chasing a required rate close to 11 runs per over Bengal Chamber lost early wickets and were far from the target till Subir Halder came to the crease. He scored a brilliant ton and took on the chase single handedly. At the end the match went to a cliffhanger where BCC&I ended up scoring 192/8 in their quota of 20 overs.
