The Bengal Chamber of Commerce and Industry in association with Apollo Gleneagles Hospitals Group paid tribute to Gurudev Rabindranath Tagore on the occasion of his birth anniversary on “Pochishe Baishakh” with Visva Bharati University on Friday, 6th May 2016 from 6 p.m. onwards at Gandhi Bhavan auditorium of Jadavpur University.

This was a very special and unique programme initiated by the Chamber in association with Visva Bharati University -the custodian of Gurudev’s work, teachings and legacy. The evening included a special programme of “Shyama” by the students of Patha Bhavana school (Visva Bharati University) along with a special presentation named Gurupranam. The second half of the programme also included a small session organized by our cultural partner, Ananya Onnomon.

The programme was supported by Jadavpur University, Bandhan Bank, CESC Limited, Calcutta Tea Traders Association, Techno India Group, International Combustion and Williamson Magor Group.
