The Hon’ble Chief Minister of West Bengal, Smt. Mamata Banerjee released the Bengal Chamber study on North Bengal Industrial and Economic Prospects, at a special programme in Siliguri on 21st January 2016. The Hon’ble CM specially spoke about the Bengal Chamber’s special contribution to development in the State and greatly appreciated this work culminating in the report.

She congratulated the Chamber’s work and its opening a new office in Siliguri and spoke glowingly about the President, Mr. Dasgupta as being an “excellent” leader. She also spoke about Mr. K K Mittal, CMD, PCM Group of Industries being present. Mr. Mittal is the Chamber’s great supporter in our work in North Bengal. The Hon’ble CM also observed that the Chamber’s in-depth study covering each District of North Bengal was critical in mapping the advantages and immediate and future prospects.
