The Bengal Chamber of Commerce and Industry, with the Ministry of External Affairs, Government of India, organized a Seminar and B2B on India-Gulf Business Exchange on 26th April 2016 in the Chamber. The Chamber is initiating more and more overseas linkages for its Members and Stakeholders by organizing business delegations, organizing Seminars with Ministry of External Affairs of the Government of India and Interactive Sessions with Diplomats.
Mr. Tariq Izzaldeen Hassan Al-Mouthen, Commercial Counselor, The Embassy of the Republic of Yemen to India delivered the Keynote Address on Promising investment opportunities in GCC and India. The Business Session included addresses on “Taxation: Cross-border taxation management” by Mr. Prasun Maiti, Director - Transfer Pricing, Price Waterhouse & Co. LLP; Overseas Business of India with special focus on GCC by Dr. Ranajoy Bhattacharya, Professor, Indian Institute of Foreign Trade, Kolkata; Policies on EXIM with special focus on GCC by Mr. Sudhakar Kasture, Director, Helpline Impex Pvt. Ltd. & Partner; Generation Next Business Consulting and Entrepreneurship Opportunities by Mr. Ashwin Srivastava, Co-founder & Director, Idein Ventures; Mr. Ardhendu Mandal, Chairman, International Trae Cell of the Chamber, moderated the Session. The session concluded with a lively Q/A session with the delegates coming up with diverse questions on Business with GCC.
