The annual Bengal Chamber Technology Quiz was held on 19th February 2016 in association with Jadavpur University in the University Premises. It was the seventh edition of our IT Quiz, and rechristened this year as the Tech Quiz. This year, the Quiz was opened only for college students. There were 300 participants from Kolkata and rest of West Bengal like Durgapur, Asansol, Kalyani and also Odisha.
In fact, two teams from Odisha were among the top three teams. The winners were students from IIIT Bhubaneswar and CET Bhubaneswar. The positions of first and second runners up were shared by NIT Rourkela & IIFT, Kolkata.
The prizes included Rs 40,000/- for winners and Rs 20,000/- and 10,000/- for the 1st Runner Up and the 2nd Runner Up Teams respectively which were jointly shared by them.
The Quiz Master Mr. Charanpreet Singh, as usual, made the Quiz an exciting affair. The programme was well received by the participants as per the feedback we received.
