The Bengal Chamber of Commerce and Industry organized the Royal Bengal Corporate Blood Donation Camp on 16th July 2016 in the Chamber premises under the guidance of Dr. Amit Ghose, Chief Mentor – Health, and in association with Project Life Force. A Blood Bank team comprising Doctors and Technicians also visited the camp and played a significant role in organizing the programme. There were more than 125 registrations for blood donation. Blood Pressure check-up, Hemoglobin content of the blood etc were first checked by the Doctors to know whether a participant was fit to donate blood. Around 75 units of blood were collected. The Camp commenced at 10:00 am and went up to 3:00 pm. Refreshments were provided to the all the participants, volunteers and special invitees who were a part of the camp.
