The Bengal Chamber of Commerce and Industry organized the annual State Budget Viewing Session 2016-17 on 24th June 2016 in the ITC Room of the Chamber. Mr. Sutanu Ghosh, President Designate, BCC&I & Managing Director, Ghosh, Bose & Associates Pvt. Ltd.; Professor Nabinananda Sen, Associate Professor & Former Head, Dept. of Business Management, Calcutta University; Dr. Vivekananda Mukherjee, Professor, Department of Economics, Jadavpur University; Mr. Pulak Saha, Co-Chairperson – Indirect Tax Committee of BCC&I & Partner, Price Waterhouse & Co. LLP and members from the Managing Committee and Indirect Taxes Committee attended the Session. The State Budget Viewing Session also included analysis of the Budget and media interactions. The Chamber’s reaction to the Budget was televised in the media and carried widely in print.
