The Bengal Chamber of Commerce and Industry organized a meeting with the Office of the Joint Commissioner – Profession Tax, Government of West Bengal on 13th March 2015 in the Chamber premises to create awareness about the online facilities being offered for Profession Tax payers. A team of officers from the Office of the Joint Commissioner - Profession Tax addressed the meeting to update members on the e-services being offered, the present alpha numeric Enrolment and Registration number system and other matters. There was also a Q/A session with the audience on various issues pertaining to Profession Tax.
