The Bengal Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the Tea Research Association (TRA), and Enfragy Solutions India Private Limited (Enfragy) signed a formal Memorandum of Understanding on 4th February 2015 at the meeting of the Managing Committee of the Bengal Chamber.
The MOU would focus on undertaking various categories of activities in the North Eastern States of India to promote energy efficiency, renewable energy propagation and other sustainable energy solutions in the Tea and Allied Industries. The objective of this MOU would be to promote energy efficiency in the Tea Industry, to generate green power and also encourage sustainable energy solutions and efficient business practices in the Tea Industry.
Mr. P Roy, Director General, The Bengal Chamber; Mr. Deb Mukherjee, Managing Director, Enfragy Solutions India Private Limited and Mr. Joydeep Phukan, Secretary, The Tea Research Association signed the MOU in the presence of Dr. Alok Roy, President, The Bengal Chamber and other Managing Committee Members of the Chamber.
