The members of the Managing Committee interacted with Mr. Matthew Hilgendorf, Principal Commercial Officer for U.S. Commercial Service after the MC meeting on 30th October evening in the Chamber. Mr. Hilgendorf was accompanied by Mr. Arup Mitra, Senior Commercial Specialist, US Commercial Service, Kolkata. The focus of the discussions ranged from collaborative ventures with US companies to the state of the economy and the business environment. The Chamber’s special initiatives in the realms of clean tech development and IT were also discussed.
