Workshop on Successful Selling Skills”, 27th March 2015, Hotel The Sonnet

The Friends of IT (FIT) Committee of the Bengal Chamber of Commerce and Industry organized a workshop on “Successful Selling Skills” on 27th March 2015 at hotel, The Sonnet. The objective was to interact and brainstorm with executives who are involved in the marketing/sales of products or services. The focus was to understand their psychology and finetune the principles of selling.
Guest Trainer of this workshop was Mr. Nikhil Desai (International Speaker, Trainer, Motivator and Director – The Centre for Excellence). Some of the participants included Mr. Himansu Sekhar, Mr. Nitya Bairagi, Mr. G P Nayak and Mr. A K Gautam of Stollberg India Pvt. Ltd., Mr. Himadri Sekhar Sinha of Hari Machines Ltd. Ms. Sheetal Chaturvedi, Mr. Anupam Singha, Mr. Manojit Mukherjee and Mr. Mayukh Goswami of Indus Net Technologies Pvt. Ltd., Ms. Sarbani Saha Basu, Ms. Poulami Raychaudhuri, Mr. Anirban Chandra and Mr. Kalyan Chaudhuri of GKB Rx Lens Pvt. Ltd and many more.
The workshop included Q/A segments addressing the following points :

• Hints on Making a Good First Impression
• Managing Stress
The participants were greatly benefited as the workshop was highly interactive, participative and experimental. When the economy is booming any salesperson can sell well but in a global economic slowdown, a dynamic sales force is a great asset to the company. The Successful Selling Skills workshop enabled the participants to understand and explore the critical success factors of selling. The participants expressed their interest to participate in this type of workshop in the near future.
