After the grand success of the Home & Décor Fair in Ranchi, Bhubaneswar and Jamshedpur, this year it was organized at Kolkata. This was a complete exposition on Real Estate & allied products where all the companies in the industry participated. Besides being jointly organized by the Bengal Chamber of Commerce & Industry and G. S. Marketing Associates, the Fair was presented by H.D.F.C Home Loans. Besides this, The College Street Pipe Merchants Association and The Calcutta Electric Traders Association were also associated with us in this Fair.
As a part of our vision for the economic development of West Bengal, The Chamber fully appreciates and understands the importance of Trade Fairs like this to improve B2B synergies. We take pride that so many exhibitors from across India and abroad came together on this platform to exhibit their products. Home and Decor is a specialized fair for construction projects and equipments, real estate, housing finance, building materials, architecture, interiors and allied products. Countries like Bangladesh, Turkey, Pakistan, and Thailand were present to showcase their interior and home products, while corporates like CERA, Hindware, Havells, and Philips put on display their kitchen, bath & sanitation products. Home and Decor attracted both B2B and B2C customers. An indicator of the potential of the State’s competitiveness as far as B2B and B2C business models in West Bengal are concerned, we were, indeed, privileged that Janab Firhad Hakim, Hon’ble Minister-in-Charge, Municipal Affairs, Urban Development and Town and Country Planning, Government of West Bengal carved out time from his extremely busy schedule to inaugurate the Fair.
