The Chamber has created an enabling forum for promoting an overarching consciousness towards the need for energy conservation. Our portal www.wattguru.com stands on the superstructure created by the three pillars of engagement, information and assistance, which are the three broad areas of delivery. A year has lapsed and wattguru.com has progressed a great deal! The Chamber has also made headways into its overarching mission of catalyzing green business propagation. The games and the energy savings calculator have their own Android app versions which can be downloaded on mobile devices. Competitions to draw in young participants are being designed. And there’s much more!

Mr. Deb A Mukherjee, Chairperson, Energy and Environment Committee and North East Initiative of the Chamber and Managing Director of Enfragy made the keynote presentation on the progress of wattguru.com. The programme was attended by stakeholders from industry, academia, researchers and civil society and of course, the media.
