The IT Committee of The Bengal Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCC&I) organized the annual Bengal Chamber IT Quiz on 28th February in the Chamber.

While the theme for the Quiz was ‘IT’, the questions covered a wide spectrum of interest areas — with each question with an IT angle but not necessarily technically oriented to IT technical issues/processes. This quiz had a unique positioning of its own --- a little away from the more familiar general and business quizzes, which made it all the more interesting and enjoyable.

The Quiz was a very exciting affair, complete with brainstormers and fabulous prizes! The winners were presented with Acer Chromebooks; the first runners up were presented with Seagate 2 TB External Hard Discs and the second runners up were presented with Swarvoski crystalline memory sticks.

Over forty teams of corporates, hard core quizzers and students participated in this annual Quiz, which has become a must-attend session for techies. Mr. Charanpreet Singh was the Quiz Master.

The winners were Raktim Kumar Nag, a student of Jadavpur University and Partha Sarathi Ghatak, a medico. The 1st runners up were Abhishek Kar and Debshish Mukherjee from mjunction. The 2nd runners up were Sampad Mishra, SAIL and Wasim Sajjad, NIT, Rourkela.
