After successfully recognizing the ”Best Young HR Professionals in” 2013, the HR / IR Committee of the Bengal Chamber of Commerce and Industry organized the “Best Young HR Professionals Award” for the 2nd time on 5th September 2014 at 4.00 pm. at the Williamson Major Hall to recognize those who have demonstrated commendable skills in their profession.

There were six finalists viz., Ms. Atreyi Banerjee (Tech Mahindra Limited), Ms. Sudheshna Banerjee (Tata Consultancy Services Ltd.), Ms. Suramita Mukherjee (Tata Consultancy Services Ltd.), Mr. Abhishek Jaiswal (Tata Steel Processing and Distribution Limited), Mr. Arunendu Basu (ACC Limited) and Ms. Esha Jha (State Trading Corporation). The panel of four judges included Mr. V C Agrawal (President – Corporate HR, CESC), Mr. Divesh Kumar (Group Director - HR, Apeejay Group), Mr. Kaushik Bhattacharya (Location Head – Kolkata and SAP Practice, IBM India Limited) and Mr. Ashis Bandopadhyay (Associate Professor, MDI Murshidabad).

Mr. Abhishek Jaiswal from Tata Steel Processing and Distribution Ltd was declared the winner and was handed over the trophy and certificate by Mr. Somesh Dasgupta, Chairperson HR/IR committee of BCC&I and President-HR/IR of India Power Corporation Ltd.

Ms. Atreyi Banerjee from Tech Mahindra was declared as the 1st runner ups and was handed over the trophy and certificate by Mr. Subhasish Das, Head HR of Berger Paints. Mr. Arunendu Basu from ACC Limited was declared the 2nd runner up and was handed over the trophy and certificate by Mr. Anish Singh, MD, SS Venture Pvt. Ltd.

There were all together 10 participants, so all the other participants were also acknowledged and certificate of participation sent to their respective offices.
