The members of the Energy and Environment Committee of BCC&I had an exclusive meeting with an international and leading climate expert, Mr. David Waskow, the Director of the renowned World Resources Institute’s International Climate Action Signature Initiative. The Initiative is focused on international cooperation that catalyzes and supports action on climate change in developed and developing countries. The initiative includes work on the elements of a 2015 international climate agreement and issues of climate change and equity. Mr. Waskow spoke on the topic, “Synergies and challenges for the post-2015 development agenda and climate action”.
