The Bengal Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCC&I) organized an interactive session with a delegation from Thailand visiting Kolkata (comprising of representatives from the Department of Business Development, Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Government of Thailand and businessmen from the Logistics and Shipping sectors) on 24th March 2014 at 2.00 p.m. at the Williamson Magor Hall, BCC&I, Kolkata.

The objectives of the programme were to find out opportunities in doing businesses and marketing in this region, surveying potentials of the logistics connection markets, and creating business relationship and networks with local businessmen while studying systems of logistics and goods transportation, especially in the context of connectivity between India and Thailand. There were a significant number of delegates representing the Shipping and Logistics sectors from BCC&I who participated in the interactive session. Quite a few of them were already doing business with Thailand / Thai companies.
