Mr. Subir Chakraborty

Bengal Chamber Health Tech President, The Bengal Chamber of Commerce and Industry and Managing Director & CEO, Exide Industries Ltd

Mr. Chakraborty is Managing Director and CEO, Exide Industries Limited and President, The Bengal Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

Mr. Chakraborty has spent nearly four decades working in various capacities in several organizations, out of which he spent more than twenty five years at Exide Industries Ltd, rising from the level of General Manager to the position of Managing Director & CEO.

He chairs the Boards of several companies such as Chloride Batteries S E Asia Pte Ltd (CBSEA) Espex Batteries Ltd (Espex), Chloride Metals Ltd, Exide Leclanche Energy Pvt Ltd, Exide Energy Solutions Ltd and Chloride International Ltd. CBSEA and Espex are located in Singapore and UK respectively, while the other companies are located in India.

Academic Qualification:
B. Tech in Mechanical Engineering from IIT Madras in 1980.
Post Graduate Diploma in Management from Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta in 1984.




Dr. Alok Roy

Bengal Chamber Health Tech Past President and Mentor, Health Committee, The Bengal Chamber of Commerce & Industry & Chairman, Medica Group of Hospitals.

Though Dr. Alok Roy specialized in nuclear cardiology from AIIMS, his passion lay in building and managing hospitals. A social entrepreneur, he established numerous healthcare facilities across the country, with his team.

Dr. Roy is passionate about healthcare specially delivering Quality Healthcare to masses at a very affordable rates, has done significant pioneering work in this field, i.e. Tele health, Project Buddha, Health Hosts, Swasthy Mitra (Health Friends) to name a few.

He conceptualised the largest and only one of its kinds, a fleet of ambulances for Road/Street Trauma services in Kolkata, Ranchi and Jamshedpur.This is a unique service rendered, which is akin to 911 emergency services of USA, and was done first time in India for above three cities and running successfully for last five years. Thousands of road victims have been benefitted.




Mr. Arnab Basu

Mr. Arnab Basu is the Advisory Leader for PwC in India. He has two decades of consulting experience in diverse fields like Digital Strategy & Business Transformation, Financial Performance Management, Removing Complexity, and defining the Digital Journey leveraging Enterprise Applications. He is part of our Global Advisory Leadership team and has worked for a range of top tier clients across multiple geographies and industries including Industrial Products, Discrete Manufacturing, Metals & Mining, Oil & Gas.

In his previous role, he was the Technology Consulting leader for PwC India for five years. As the Regional Managing Partner of East region, Mr Basu expanded PwC's footprints across the region including Bangladesh, Nepal and Bhutan.

Mr. Basu joined PwC post his MBA from Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta in 2001. He has previously done his bachelors in Electrical Engineering from Jadavpur University. He is closely associated with several Business Chambers.




Dr. Ashutosh Raghuvanshi

Dr. Ashutosh Raghuvanshi takes the helm at Fortis Healthcare, one of the largest healthcare providers in India with a network of 27 hospitals and over 400 diagnostics centres.

A cardiac surgeon turned management leader, Dr. Raghuvanshi has over 35+ years of healthcare experience and numerous national and international healthcare awards under his belt.

Before joining Fortis, Dr. Raghuvanshi spent over 18 years with Narayana Health (leading healthcare chain operating over 28 hospitals) in various leadership roles including as its Vice Chairman, Managing Director and Group Chief Executive Officer (MD&CEO), where he played an instrumental role in getting the company successfully listed on The Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE).

Dr. Raghuvanshi has represented at various industry forums including Confederation of Indian Industry (CII), Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI), Healthcare Federation of India (NATHEALTH) etc.

He is also a globally recognised industry public speaker and a trustee for various charitable trusts and philanthropic foundations.

During a decade long stint with Apollo Hospitals (India's largest healthcare provider), he was instrumental in commissioning and operating the group's hospitals in New Delhi and Colombo.

He has more than seventeen years of professional experience ranging from Management Consulting, Digital Transformation and Project Management across multiple sectors, primary of which is Health industries - spanning across healthcare provider, payer, life sciences, pharmaceutical and medical devices organization across multiple geographies, both in the public and private space.

A trained design thinker, he works closely with the CXO community of Health industries organizations in helping them use Digital as a business lever to improve care delivery and drive operational efficiency. He specializes in leading technology-enabled transformation through Digital Operating Model definition for organizations, employing the concepts of Design Thinking. Through such engagements he has worked with organizations to translate their business vision into operational reality by defining the future state across people, process, technology and governance.
He has keen interest in helping develop products/solutions and use cases deploying emerging technologies of blockchain, AI/ML, IoT, RPA, cloud to solve business problems for clients.

His core skills include Digital & analytics Strategy & Transformation, Business Analysis, Data & Information Management, BI Solution Development, Process & Technology Consulting, Advanced Analytics & Artificial Intelligence, Data Modeling, Master Data Management and Data lake Implementation etc. He has helped many clients across India, USA, APAC regions in their Data & Analytics transformation journey. He also has helped clients to build roadmaps for data, reporting and analytics and delivered many reporting and KPI strategy, data lake, BI implementation projects in his career so far.




Ms. Richa Singh Debgupta

Richa Singh Debgupta, is Chief of Strategy & Operations for Fortis Healthcare Group which is one of the largest healthcare providers of India with 27 hospitals across the country.

Leading the strategy function for the group her core responsibility is to have a forward-looking plan for Fortis: she is also responsible for identifying key areas which could be of concern, conceptualizing solutions for that and implementing them across the network hospitals. In currently growth strategy for the group, she is responsible for identifying the assets for merger and acquisition and taking it up to the closure of the deal. Richa is considered as a turnaround specialist and leads the hospitals which requires process re-engineering and turnaround for over all performance improvement.

She has completed her Master's Program in Hospital Management from the prestigious Indian Institute of Healthcare Management Research, Jaipur. She has further augmented her training in transformational leadership from one of the best B Schools Indian School of Business, Hyderabad.

Richa is the recipient of an award from President of India for running most energy-efficient hospitals across the country. She has also been conferred as Best Women Healthcare Leader by ABP news.

Dr. Sujoy Kar is the Chief Medical Information Officer and the Vice-President of Apollo Hospitals, previously Medical Director of Apollo Gleneagles Hospitals, Kolkata. He is a Clinical Microbiologist by background with subsequent post graduations from Indian Statistical Instituteand MIT Sloan School.

He is an Adjunct Faculty for Healthcare Analytics and Management at IIM Calcutta and IIT Kharagpur. Shri Aditya Kumar Sinha

Mr. Aditya Kumar Sinha has twenty-eight years of progressive and successful experience in providing strategic and operational leadership, he also worked with National Research Lab, premier National Institute and IT organizations. Mr. Sinha serves as Director & Centre Head at Centre for Development of Advanced Computing (C-DAC), Kolkata and Patna, which is a Scientific R&D Organization of the Ministry of Electronics & Information Technology (MeitY), Government of India.

In addition to being Centre Head, Mr. Sinha is leading various projects with the R&D teams at C-DAC Kolkata and Patna working in collaboration with premier academic and research organizations. Mr. Sinha is also a core contributor in establishment of AI scalable HPC facility of 2 Petaflops at C-DAC Patna and other high computing infrastructures. He is leading the Experts Team in Digital Transformation, Future thinking, Human-Centric Healthcare, Smart AgriTech, UAV, Quantum Computing, Cyber Security Research, and Education & Technology. Mr. Sinha is also actively engaged in Education Technology and eLearning Solutions, he is the Member of Academic Council, a national committee on E&T. He is the Program Head in Development of high-end Post Graduate Diploma & Certificate programs on Advanced ICT at levels 7-8 of National Skill Qualification Framework.
