- Panel Discussion on, “Changing Behaviour, Enabling Conservation” on the occasion of the FIRST ANNIVERSARY of wattguru.com, 20th January2015, The Palladian Lounge

The Bengal Chamber, in association with Enfragy Solutions India Private Limited, organized a Panel Discussion on ‘Changing Behaviour, Enabling Conservation’ on 20th January 2015 in The Palladian Lounge in the Chamber on the occasion of the First Anniversary of our movement at the national level committed to energizing a behavioural response to save energy. The Chamber has created an enabling forum for promoting an overarching consciousness towards the need for energy conservation. Our portal www.wattguru.com stands on the superstructure created by the three pillars of engagement, information and assistance, which are the three broad areas of delivery. A year has lapsed and wattguru.com has progressed a great deal! The Chamber has also made headways into its overarching mission of catalyzing green business propagation. The games and the energy savings calculator have their own Android app versions which can be downloaded on mobile devices. Competitions to draw in young participants are being designed. And there’s much more!
The programme celebrated the achievements of wattguru.com and presented what more are in store. The Panel Discussion was joined by,

Mr. Sutanu Ghosh, Senior Vice President of the Bengal Chamber chaired the session, while Mr. Arun Kumar Mukherjee, Chairperson Emeritus of the Energy and Environment Committee delivered the Vote of Thanks. Mr. Deb A Mukherjee, Chairperson, Energy and Environment Committee and North East Initiative of the Chamber and Managing Director of Enfragy made the keynote presentation on the progress of wattguru.com. The programme was attended by stakeholders from industry, academia, researchers and civil society and of course, the media.
